Now that you have covered
these theories, think of the informal societal learning institutions around -
home included. How are they able to teach
effectively without this knowledge - or do they have? If they do, where do they
get it from? Interesting!
In this blog, my point of reference is computer lesson
To me informal learning institutions sound like "internet cafe in the shopping complex or freind computer with internet connection". At first the knowledge how, is what these participants (children) are likely have, which in most cases they acquire it from "trial and error attemps" it therefore means it is either an autonomous process or peer learning. This is one kind of infromal learning, because the participants are not awere of knowledge what and knowledge that, however they can carryout knowledge how. It means participants have skills to teach one another computer lessons through doing. Some they get computer skills from everyday practice.

1. You watched a couple of videos
explaining some of the concepts involved within the learning theories. Did you
find this use of multimedia helpful? Elaborate.
2. What do you think makes
constructivism a more favorable theory for users of
resources?Constructivism is a theory which hasve roots on philosophical and psychological perspective. In this theory, learning is considered to be meaning of experiences of individuals. Learning through experiences implies "doing", learner must not occupy space of reciever of knoledge from the teacher, rather own the knoledge. in constructivist classroom, learners are expacted to be able to link the enviromental phenomenons with knoledge, in order to be able to solve problem and reason critically, that requires learners to be "active" in the learning process. it means learners should not memorise information as raw as it is from the teacher, but should create environmental link with the knoledge acquired.
